PIPELINE CONDITION MONITORING & SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM EXPANSION OF KAZTRANSOIL ALIBEKMOLA – KENKIYAK – ZHANAZHOL CRUDE OIL PIPELINE

The scope of first phase of the project was commissioned in December 2009 on Oil Pipeline, Kenkyak MOPS – Zhanazhol MOPS section and consisted of one OptaSense interrogator unit, one processing and storage server and two operator workstations.

TENGIZCHEVROIL DATA TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR WAREHOUSE BARCODE PROJECT

In the implementation of this project the following problems were solved:

  • provision of a high rate on the radio channels;
  • coverage of the specified area;
  • possibility of simultaneously working with several clients;
  • possibility of filtering traffic and the provision of secure wireless access to controller devices;

PROCESS VISUALISATION SYSTEM FOR NCPOC KASHAGAN

Within the terms of a contract signed in September 2013, AVENCOM took responsibility for providing a complex solution in accord with the assignment, that on handover would include all the housing, installation, wiring and equipment connecting work.

PERSPEKTIVA KAN HVAC

AVENCOM developed a modern system for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning for the new office building for the asphalt plant of LLP “Perspektiva Kan”.
Air-conditioning used the hydronic scheme of a fancoil chiller. The preferred chillers are assembled for specific circumstances, and therefore their power, performance
and framing, are in accord with the preliminary estimates. A mixture of water and diethylene glycol is used for the heat-cold carrier.

DESIGN AND PROCUREMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS FOR AGIP KCO, KASHAGAN

In the middle of 2011 AVENCOM signed a contract with Agip KCO which included providing detailed design, procurement, assembly, start up and adjustment of the following systems:

  • ACS;
  • LAN and telephone lines;
  • Fibre optic telecommunications lines
  • TETRA radio
  • PA/GA

KAZAKHMYS BOZSHAKOL SULPHIDE PROJECT

The Bozshakol Copper Project has been targeted for development to facilitate the long term production and supply of copper concentrate for the Balkash and Zhezkazgan smelters. The Kazakhmys smelters are presently under utilised by thirty percent and the onstream production of Bozshakol in 2014 will result in a significant increase of copper production; adding over 100 000 tonnes per annum into the overall copper cathode production capabilities.

AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT FOR NCPOC “CASPIAN” OFFICE IN ATYRAU

In June 2011, NC Production Operations Company B.V. And AVENCOM signed a contract for the design and installation of a high quality latest generation 3D equipment. The project was intended to fully equip the «Caspian» Business Center with sound and visual equipment..

INSTALLING AND COMMISSIONING QINETIQ/OPTASENSE PIPELINE SECURITY SYSTEM ON THE EXPORT PIPELINE KARACHAGANAK-ATYRAU, PHASE III

For the protection of part of the export pipeline Karachaganak-Atyrau from unauthorised interruptions in its work, an OptaSense system, produced by the English company QinetiQ, was designed and installed.
The system was designed to discover, classify and determine the site of potential threats to the pipeline.

“INTERGAS CENTRAL ASIA” JSC. MODERNIZATION OF THE CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

Installation of the first air-conditioner: JSC «Intergas Central Asia» decided to fit out the server room with an independent cooling system to maintain a stable
temperature.

AGIP KCO BAUTINO MARINE BASE SECURITY SYSTEM

Agip KCO identified the need to deploy an access control system at its Bautino Base facilities. Additionally, the Client wished to deploy an IP based CCTV surveillance system at Bautino Base. These facilities are subject to continental, arid climate conditions due to extreme differences between day and night time temperatures and between winter and summer temperatures. All of the above environmental factors were taken into consideration AVENCOM when designed project solution. The core products addressed by this need and site condition were chosen the Apollo access control system and the Bosch IP Video Management System and cameras.

PHASE II PIPELINE SURVEILLANCE AND CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM FOR KPO BV, KARACHAGANAK

KPO Management always paid great attention to the control issues of technical condition of pipelines  that are used to export hydrocarbons. As Brian Drinkhall,
Operations & Maintenance Superintendent for KPO’s KATS Export Pipeline said, “KPO takes pipeline security very seriously and illegal tap incidents can pose serious safety and environmental issues.”

BAKU-TBILISI-CEYHAN PIPELINE. CONDITION MONITORING AND SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM OF TURKEY SECTION. PHASE II

Baku – Tbilisi - Ceyhan Pipeline is one of the longest in the world. OptaSense technology was selected for condition monitoring of Turkey segment. Operation of
just the first phase of the project, consisting of two interrogator units allowed to detect the illegal tapping attempt. Mr Hasan Alsancak BP-BTC Country Security Manager Turkey said “We have been impressed with the technical performance over the last year with this technology successfully preventing theft from our pipeline over the initial 100km. We believe the OptaSense system to be a cost effective way of monitoring the security and efficiency of our pipeline.

HVAC AUTOMATION FOR ZHAIKMUNAI CHINAREVO

Automatic control of the supply-extract system was installed and adjusted in 4 buildings of the Chinareva OGCF. The system was set up taking into account
possible gas leaks and fires. The supply-extract system under automatic control provides:

  • Control and regulation of air supply;
  • Protection of a water heater from freezing;
  • Control of the start up of ventilation;
  • Air valve control;
  • Control of an adjusting valve on the heat carrier;
  • Control of the work of the circulation pump;
  • Regulation of the temperature in the premises.

METROETHERNET FOR KAZAKHMYS CORPORATION

Metro  Ethernet network was designed to combine the industrial areas of the metallurgical complex of Corporation Kazakhmys in two cities for the first, to ensure the rapid exchange of current information received from the automation systems and telemetry, and secondly to increase the capacity of the connection
as the Internet and the Intranet.

COOLING SYSTEM FOR AGIP KCO TRAING CENTERE SERVER ROOM

In June, 2009, Agip KCO и AVENCOM signed a contract for the «Design, production, delivery, installation, checking and commissioning of an independent cooling system for the server room at the training center of Agip KCO in Atyrau. According to the contract AVENCOM prepared a project, including all the required detailed documentation, which was sufficient for executing the purchase of equipment and materials and the construction work. AVENCOM surveyed the actual condition of the building and its electrical systems in order to identify the best solution for the siting of the external unit of the precision air conditioner and the connection of the cooling equipment to the existing electricity supply system. AVENCOM also carried out all the construction work necessary for a reliable Inert Gas Fire Fighting System in the server room. AVENCOM carried out the design, procurement, assembly and commissioning of the required cooling system. The project includes all the auxiliary systems necessary for a fully functioning operational cooling system. 

KPO BV KARACHAGANAK VIDEOCOFERENCE SYSTEM

Geographically located structure of the KPO b.v. (Aksai, Karachaganak field, Astana, London, parent companies’ offices) requires high-quality videoconferencing connection between offices.

BUZACHI OPERATING TOWER&WiMAX

Implementation of the project took place in two stages. First stage - Included the construction of a 43 m tower with a telecommunications container and was associated with the design and subsequent examination of the project by the authorized bodies. In the middle of summer, the assembly of the structures began on the site selected for the construction on the field. After two weeks the 43m tower with the telecommunications container were ready for commissioning. After approval by the state commission the object was successfully put into operation. With this the first phase was completed.

BANK CENTERCREDIT HVAC

In connection with the construction of a new office for Bank CenterCredit, we were given the task of designing, procuring and installing a turnkey HVAC system. At the end of the design stage, it was proposed that AVENCOM:

  • procure equipment for ventilation and air-conditioning;
  • procure installation materials and refrigeration equipment;
  • procure equipment to control the ventilation and air-conditioning;
  • install copper pipes for the refigeration;
  • commission the equipment for the ventilation and air-conditioning system;

The difficulty in executing a client's assignment in a new building under construction is the need to work together with other contractors harmoniously while fulfilling work to an agreed schedule. AVENCOM successfully managed to do this, thanks to the team working skills and expertise of the design team.

CALL CENTER FOR AKIMAT OF WEST KAZAKHSTAN

This project was designed to solve several tasks ofthe Customer:

  1. Deployment of Call Center with capability to process to 60 simultaneous calls
  2. Corporate network for departments of WKR Government and IP telephony

INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC SERVICE CENTERS, JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OF WEST KAZAKHSTAN OBLAST

According  to  the  direction  of  the  President  of  RoK  to create  the  network  of  population  service  centers  to provide  execution  of  Electronic  Government  program, and also to develop and implement standards of public services,  Justice  Department  of WKO  declared  a  bid to purchase  equipment  necessary  to  support  reliable functioning of the integrated system

AGIP KCO BAUTINO BASE HVAC SYSTEM

It was necessary to propose HVAC system for two external electrical units on the site of treatment facilities of drilling sludge and reduced crude water on AGIP KCO Base at Bautino village in Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan.

WIRELESS TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC GOVERNMENT

Electronic Document Circulation (EDC) system was designed to connect all the departments of the government of West Kazakhstan region into one computer based network. Each department is equipped with a server responsible for collecting, storing and distributing of documents.

TECHNOPARK ALGORITM URALSK

The construction of the new Technopark Algoritm office was included into the RoK 2006 Development Program. It was planned to be a modern office with state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure. The government ran a tender to reveal the best contractors in the region to implement the President’s plan.

KPO EXPORT PIPELINE LONG HAUL DWDM

SDH STM-1 (0.156 Gbit/s) was the only system that used in KPO Export Pipeline Aksai – Bolshoi Chagan Pumping Station (BCPS) – Atyrau Terminal. It was used mainly for DCS purposes by SCADA system.

KPO BV KARACHAGANAK HVAC MAINTENANCE

When the partners in Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) – BG Group, Eni, ChevronTexaco and LUKOIL – signed the 40-year Final Production Sharing Agreement with the Government of Kazakhstan in November 1997, a commitment was given to construct new facilities that would allow the Karachaganak oil to enter world markets.

AGIP KCO KASHAGAN SAMAL CAMP

As part of the first phase of the development of the Kashagan oil field, called Experimental Program, a permanent camp Samal was constructed in Karabatan. AVENCOM subcontracted the construction of the following objects in Samal:

  • 70 m telecommunication tower erection for Page Europa SpA;
  • Installation of Electrical, fiber optic, instrumental cabling system in camp Samal for Almaty Kurylys;
  • Turn key installation of Entertainment System for Page Europa SpA.

AGIP KCO KASHAGAN 70 METER RADIO TOWER FOR KARABATAN CAMP

There is an AGIP-KCO project for Kashagan Field Development onshore project. The Kashagan field is located in the Caspian Sea offshore Kazakhstan, approximately 80 km south of the town of Atyrau. The reservoir contains 45 API oil
with associated sour gas. The development will comprise a combination of both offshore and onshore processing facilities.

AGIP KCO KASHAGAN KARABATAN PERMANENT CAMP ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM

Scope of this project was to design and install the Entertainment System and its associated equipment for Early Works Permanent Camp in Kashagan Area.
