Agip KCO identified the need to deploy an access control system at its Bautino Base facilities. Additionally, the Client wished to deploy an IP based CCTV surveillance system at Bautino Base. These facilities are subject to continental, arid climate conditions due to extreme differences between day and night time temperatures and between winter and summer temperatures. All of the above environmental factors were taken into consideration AVENCOM when designed project solution. The core products addressed by this need and site condition were chosen the Apollo
access control system and the Bosch IP Video Management System and cameras.
The project became more complicated when after site inspection we discovered existing infrastructure were not sufficient and not adequate to cover project needs as CCTV and Access control are the special services and must have independent infrastructure.
The project was divided into two stages: infrastructure construction and security systems deployment covering whole bunch of AVENCOM’s normal types of activities from FEED up to maintenance contract.
